About This Show

Netala Theatre of Jerusalem presents Bavel, a new play written and directed by Moshe Malka and performed by a mostly-Ethiopian cast of 13. The show is a multilingual play performed in Hebrew, Amharic (the main language of Ethiopia), English and Swedish, and is America’s first taste of the theater born of the Ethiopian Israeli experience.

This show will also be performed on Thursday, February 7 (7:30pm), and Sunday, February 10 (5:00pm), at the Center for Jewish History, 15 West 16th Street. Tickets will be $15 ($12 for seniors and students.) For more information call 917-606-8200 or visit www.cjh.org
