The Crescent Line Theatre Company presents August November, a world premiere play by Louise Schwarz. In November 2001, their lives changed by unspeakable tragedy, five New Yorkers desperately seek refuge and solace wherever they can find it. Thea, a graduate student in Urban Studies, had always been critical of the World Trade Center from a city planning and architectural perspective. Now, she tries to reconcile herself with her new sentimental feelings about the buildings, not to mention her newfound patriotism. She works through her loss with substances, sex, and her small circle of acquaintances. Old crises re-emerge as Margot struggles
with her drug addiction, James re-examines the function of his hedonist (and solo) lifestyle, and Patrick tries hard to hold on to Natalie, who is torn between her friendship with him and her true sexuality.
