About This Show

Roberta Flack is one of a kind: a peerless musical storyteller, a skilled musician and an accomplished performer. This unique artist takes the Colden Auditorium stage to star in An Evening With Roberta Flack. In 1968, Roberta Flack was discovered singing and playing jazz in a Washington nightclub by the pianist Les McCann who recommended her to Atlantic Records where she subsequently signed up to the label. Since then, Roberta Flack has been setting the night to music with her own distinctive and compelling style.
