9th Street Water

9th Street Water is a drama about four women who live on the same block in a suburban New Jersey town where each were molested by the same teenaged boy when they were between the ages of 8 and 12. The women learn that the boy, Ritchie, is returning to 9th Street for the first time in 20 years to deal with his mother’s death. His imminent and unexpected return fuels the women’s decades long feelings of anger, fear, and denial. His return also causes these women to spring into action. After much debate, the women lure Ritchie to one woman’s apartment so they can get their revenge against the man who robbed them of their childhoods. They drug him, tie him up, and one by one take turns confronting Ritchie. But just as each woman dealt with Ritchie’s abuse in a different way to survive, each woman has a different idea of what the perfect revenge should be.
