About This Show

The Red Dress is about Erin, a young woman wading through all the tweeting voices, mixed messages and stern lectures in our society about teen sex. Her friends say everyone is doing it, but she doesn’t know how she feels or who to turn to for support. After getting caught in a lie, she has to come to terms with her choices and connect with her mom on an entirely new level. A diverse cast of young adults and mature performers play the characters in Erin’s world.

A Space Between is dedicated to creating plays for teenagers and the adults who want to connect with them. The Red Dress zeroes in on what makes inter-generational conversations about sex so challenging and opens a door for honest dialogue.
