About This Show

Acclaimed film and theater director Rezo Gabriadze brings his moving world of puppet theater from the Republic of Georgia to Lincoln Center Festival 2002. The Battle of Stalingrad is a delicate synthesis of puppetry, art, cinema, poetry, music, and drama. The performance reveals the human devastation if a city after it was besieged by the Germans during World War II.
