Summer Play Party

After a decade of producing plays by New York City high school playwrights, MCC Theater has redefined its Summer Play Party program, produced by the Education and Outreach Department. This program was instituted to give young playwrights the experience of working in the professional theater and to inspire high school students to pursue dramatic writing as an outlet for personal expression. Five one-act plays written by members of the MCC Youth Theater Company will be mounted in professional productions.
