In Andrew Bergman’s Social Security, a hilarious comedy with fast-paced dialogue, David and Barbara Kahn are New York City art dealers whose tranquil lives are shattered with the arrival of Barbara’s uptight sister, Trudy, and her husband, who announce that they’ve had all they can stand and Mother has to move in with Barbara and David.
