Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana

In celebration of its 30th Anniversary season, Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana, the only USA/NYC based flamenco company to reach such a milestone, comes to The Joyce with a program featuring the finest dancers and musicians from New York and Spain. The artists whose “gypsy voices…coiling wrists…angry feet and curving backs…never fail to entrance an audience” (Village Voice) perform company co-founder Roberto Lorca’s signature work Luz y Sombra. Also on the program–new works by the vibrant flamenco dancer and choreographer Angel Muñoz.
