Luis Santeiro and Fernando Rivas’ new musical Barrio Babies is a satrical look at the stereotyping of Latinos in contemporary Hollywood. When Puerto Rican screenwriter Rey Reyes gets his Latino screenplay optioned by a big studio, he is thrilled–until his producers start demanding changes that play into every cliche Latino stereotype ever filmed.
