The Jewish Repertory Theater continues its 1999-2000 season with the delightful musical comedy, Abie’s Island Rose. Created by Doug Katsaros, Richard Engquist and Frank Evans, this four character show is about a romance between Abie, a young Jewish medical student, and Rose, an Afro-Caribbean nurse. The show takes place on two mythical islands: Tornados in the Carribean and Manhattan on the Hudson.
