New York Choral Society Spring Gala

The New York Choral Society will celebrate its 54th anniversary with a Spring Gala. Robert Sherman, award-winning broadcaster and writer, will be honored with the Robert De Cormier Lifetime Achievement Award for his 35 years of outstanding service supporting young artists through WQXR’s “The McGraw-Hill Companies’ Young Artists Showcase” and his devotion to folk music as host of WFUV’s “Woody’s Children.” We also will be honoring Eugene Kohn, who will be presented with the Music Leadership Award for his distinguished career as an opera conductor.
