In her early teens, Michelle Samuels began to study voice with the accomplished soprano Marni Nixon. Through her career, she has worked as a duo with New York’s top guitarists including Gene Bertoncini, Paul Meyers, Howard Alden, Roni Ben Hur, and Joe Cohn. Her debut CD Across A Crowded Room features musicians Steve La Spina, Rich De Rosa, Paul Meyers, and Adam Asarnow. Michelle conceived of original arrangements of “Some Enchanted Evening,” “The Sweetest Sounds,” “It Ain’t Necessarily So,” and “Hum Drum Blues” and other standards featured on the CD.
