Mark Nadler presents Write Now! Songs by People Who Aren’t Dead as the first extended engagement at the new OPIA Restaurant.
The show features the new standards, which are songs that Nadler defines as lyrics with wit and style, not necessarily written to be a hit of today, but to stand the test of time. Presented by Mark Nadler in Opia Restaurant’s brand new stylish cabaret space featuring his fun, lighthearted but not foolish style. Mark will sing songs by living composers as well-known as Cy Coleman, Stephen Sondheim, and Jerry Herman, as well as less discovered talent, such as John Forster, John Wallowitch, Ray Errol Fox and many others, who, since they are living could stop by at any moment to make sure Mark sings their words and plays their notes exactly as written!!!
