Terrence McNally's Lips Together, Teeth Apart was originally seen off-Broadway at Manhattan Theatre Club, takes place on the deck of a beach house on Fire Island, where a brother and sister and their respective spouses attempt to celebrate the Fourth of July with a gnawing uncertainty about their lives and their futures.
