About This Show

Judy’s Chelsea presents the return of this cabaret honoring the lyricist Dorothy Fields. From Harold Arlen and Jerome Kern to Cy Coleman and Jimmy McHugh, the legendary Fields wrote lyrics with the best and brightest of composers, many of these songs, including the premiere of a song by her son David Lahm, will be featured in Keep it in the Family. With a father who tried desperately to keep her out of show business, her incomparable career spanned Broadway and motion pictures. A loving mother to her son, she strongly encouraged his creative career. “Five O?clock Sky”, a song written by Fields & Lahm will have its New York debut at this wonderful retrospective of a legendary songwriter.
There is a $10 minimum at each performance
