About This Show

Just Piddlin’: a dirt road operetta is a series of ten songs from the points of view of distinct voices of the American South. Filled with irony and camp, the operetta explores southern stereotypes and themes of repression and ignorance, without ever losing its comedic flair. The piece features characters such as a lesbian church organist, a man who decorates with Confederate flags, and a cross-dressing dream ballet.
