Judy and Liza — Once in a Lifetime: The London Palladium Concert — A Tribute

After starring as Judy and Liza to critical acclaim in The Boy from Oz, Nancy Hays and Michelle Lauto now re-create the 1964 London Palladium performance of the legendary Judy Garland and her 18-year-old daughter Liza Minnelli. That Palladium concert was the only time in history when Judy and Liza performed together onstage. This loving tribute features the classic songs, musical arrangements, dialogue, outfits, and dance steps to recapture the historic occasion.

Accompanied by a jazz combo led by music director Robert Ollis, Nancy (portraying Judy Garland) and Michelle (portraying Liza Minnelli) perform iconic solos like “The Man That Got Away,” “Just in Time,” and “Gypsy in My Soul” and duets like “Chicago” and “Get Happy / Happy Days,” celebrating the thrilling mother-daughter collaboration that occurred only “once in a lifetime.”
