About the Show

The vivacious Janine Alondres won the 2004 Hawaii Music Award “Adult Contemporary Album of the Year” for her first CD “Dreams Do Come True.” Born and raised in San Francisco, California to parents from the island of Oahu in Hawaii, Janine comes from a family rooted in music. She came to New York in 1992 and was accepted to the Cabaret Symposium at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center, where she studied with performers such as Margaret Whiting, Julie Wilson & Anne Francine. Much like her desire to connect with the song she sings, Alondres wants her audience to connect with them as well. She states her music is sourced from love and passion and she wants her audience to resonate with the same feelings.
