For as long as she can remember, Isabel Hagen was going to be a professional violist. She spent her childhood practicing for hours a day, and eventually attended The Juilliard School. But when ever-increasing performance anxiety and a wrist injury forced Isabel to stop playing for an indefinite period of time, she had to exist without the skill that had once defined her, and she started pursuing stand-up comedy.
