Instead, it’s a hot, messy and wholesome chapter in the lives of five 15 year old average janes who are struggling to navigate the allure of womanhood, their sexuality, their trauma, their family and their place in the thick of it all. GIRLHOOD is sweet and savory and reminds us that it’s hard to be a 15 year old girl.
