Bruhs and Gean

Bruhs and Gean were just 18 and 20 when they met. With courage, determination and humor they weathered the often repressive social climate of the 1930s, 40s and 50s. When social and sexual liberation dawned in the 1960s, Bruhs and Gean were firmly entrenched in their closeted existence, becoming increasingly isolated even post-Stonewall.
