Battle Rattle

This unique play focuses on two strangers, an Iraq War Veteran and a stay-at-home mother of three, who meet in the waiting room of their first ever therapy sessions, where their respective burdens are unearthed. After opening the lid on their lives for the first time ever, they seek comfort from one another, play a drinking game, and tempt disaster, all while avoiding the very real consequences waiting for them at home. This is a story of what happens when you open the floodgates on your life and let in the truth, whether you're ready for it or not.

*Please note that this performance will be presented at the Tank's in-person performance space at 312 W 36th St. All attendees and artists will be required to display proof of full covid vaccination before being admitted to the space, either by showing a vaccination record (vaccination card) at least two weeks out from the final dose of an approved vaccine, or by using New York's free Excelsior Pass service here. Patrons will also be required to wear masks while indoors at all times.
