About This Show

Baby Jane Dexter, force of nature, continues for an unprecedented tenth consecutive month on Saturdays in December with her show Another Spring (Then & Now).

For the month of December, Baby Jane returns for four additional shows on Saturdays, December 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th at 9:00PM, but these shows have been designated as a benefit for The Bowery Residents’ Committee (www.bowrescom.org) to raise funds and clothing for “Holiday Hats for the BRC.” You can choose to pay the cover (to be donated to the group), or bring an unwrapped new, warm hat, cap, scarf or pair of gloves (value $10 or more) to be distributed to the homeless. Each show will pay tribute to a cabaret personality.

The first December show, on the 6th, will be dedicated to the memory of the late Darrell Henline, founder of CABARET SCENES magazine. The show on the 13th will memorialize Lewis Friedman, who owned the legendary Greenwich Village club Reeno Sweeney and passed away in 1991. The December 20th show will honor the late Stan Martin, longtime radio personality and cabaret supported. The final show will be to honor cabaret legend and reigning grande diva of cabaret, Julie Wilson.

The eclectic, critically acclaimed show includes songs by Randy Newman, Cole Porter, Sammy Cahn, Michael Kamen, Vernon Duke and The Beatles. Ms. Dexter is joined by her musical director Ross Patterson.
