New York City
With their joint production of two shows by Christopher Durang, Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All for You and The Actor’s Nightmare, The Circle Players continue their practice of presenting edgier works. In the first show, Sister Mary is a strict nun who is confronted by her former students, with startling results. In the second, a man named George, who thinks he might be an accountant, finds himself onstage, expected to perform in a play – but he hasn’t rehearsed, and doesn’t know the lines… or even which play he is in. Randy McCann directs.
There is no performance on Sunday, January 7.
