New York City
One Mo’ Time! replicates a swinging New Orleans vaudeville, circa 1926. This Crossroads’ treasure–it was first performed at the Theatre in 1985– is a celebration of New Orleans and the Black Vaudeville circuit of the 1920’s. The audience is treated to sizzling renditions of the Charleston, the Black Bottom, and the Cakewalk along with the band lashing into “Tiger Rag,” “Muskrat Ramble,” and “A Hot Time in the Old Town Tonight.”
No Matinee on Saturday, November 4th.
