Jazz for Kids

Jazz for Kids is a high-energy presentation designed to introduce children to jazz and the percussive rhythms of tap. By using familiar songs and a variety of instruments, David Leonhardt and his band, along with the Shelly Oliver Tap Ensemble, explain the unique role rhythm plays through various styles and tempos to create the American-born music called “jazz.”
