JACK!… (and the beans talk!)

The Burgdorff Cultural Center presents JACK!… (and the beans talk!), based on the classic fairy tale of Jack, the Giant Killer, but in this version one of the lesser characters gets a little more play. Beanie (the fellow who sells Jack the beans) is a good natured sort, but terribly lonely, due to the unappealing side effects (ahem!) of trafficking in beans. He doesn’t really mean to swindle Jack and tries to make appends. Helped by Jack’s mum, Mrs. Trot, Angela, their beloved cow, The Giant’s pretty young servant girl and a sprinkle or two of fairy dust, Beanie really comes through for Jack in the end… literally!
