New York City
Nicky Silver’s Fit To Be Tied is an amoral, freethinking, and blunt comedy that has no shame about honoring family values and the power of love to hear. Arloc Simpson is fabulously wealthy but desperately lonely. He meets someone he believes may be the great love of his life, Boyd, a young runaway with no family who is working as an angel at Radio City’s Christmas Spectacular. When Arloc’s mother, Nessa, a flamboyant, fast-talking, heavy drinking, promiscuous woman seeks refuge with her son and stumbles upon the angel, bound and gagged in the closet, she realizes her son is in trouble. The three of them form what turns out to be the nuclear family of the new millennium.
