About This Show

After a lifetime behind the footlights on the world’s stages, and five years of silence, why is the woman Spain’s ABC reviewer called "a wild stage beast," singing again? She says her students at New Jersey City University kept at her to perform and seeing their joy in performance started the bubble rising, the joy of wanting to perform again, but now for a different reason.

Adria, on stage by the time she was 10, is an award-winning singer and actress whose credits range from Bizet’s Carmen to Family Guy. She won a Carbonell for Best Actress in a musical for Dulcinea in The Man of La Mancha, and was voted Woman of the Year in Spoleto, Italy.

Adria’s programming for Return to Love chooses Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Stephen Sondheim, and some international classics to unfold a compelling story. This is not just an evening of fine music — this is a complete theatrical experience. Michael Hirsch, a veteran of stage, movies & TV, is directing this piece and Greg Dlugos, Broadway conductor, is the pianist and arranger.

Admission includes a meet-the-artists champagne reception.
