CFL Gala & Show: “Evergreen” The Music of Barbra Streisand

On Sunday afternoon, December 4, Cabaret for Life will gather at Cross and Orange in Asbury Park for a special show as we present EVERGREEEN: The Music of Barbra Streisand featuring three fantastic singers:
Bre Cade, Giuliana Augello and Né Lasheé, just in time to celebrate Bab’s 80th birthday.

Barbra Streisand became a Broadway star in 1968 when she created the role of Fanny Brice in Funny Girl and later starred in the film (and the sequel Funny Lady). She also starred in the films of Hello, Dolly!, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever and A Star Is Born, for which she wrote and sang her Academy Award-winning song “Evergreen.”.

As a recording artist—with 150 million albums sold (and counting)—she has recorded 50 studio recordings and won 9 GRAMMY Awards (and been nominated 43 times).

Come celebrate one of America’s greatest female vocalists of all time, with a varied set of Barbra songs from her Broadway, film, pop and holiday recordings. Jason Neri will lead the four-piece band.
