About This Show

Yale Repertory Theatre presents Culture Clash in AmeriCCa, created, written and performed by Culture Clash: Richard Montoya, Ric Salinas and Herbert Siguenza. The production is directed by Tony Taccone.

A high-octane fusion of satire, shtick, and sociology, the production is the theatrical explosion that happens when culture and politics collide. Culture Clash in AmeriCCa uses humor, dance and poetry to create an edgy, non-traditional evening of theatre that explores this country’s diverse peoples and histories. Culture Clash’s three members each play multiple characters, crossing all racial, social, and sexual boundaries, reinventing our ideas of storytelling and community while celebrating the cities and people that make this country what it is.

There is a special Monday evening performance on November 17 at 8PM, and a Wednesday matinee on December 3 at 2PM.
