The Sty of the Blind Pig

St. Louis Black Repertory Company presents The Sty of the Blind Pig, a Negro Ensemble Company revival by Phillip Hayes Dean. The ?Blind Pig? was often used to refer to a house of ill repute, where women, whiskey and food were sold. Set in Chicago during the mid-1950?s, this moving drama explores the struggling relationship between a mother and daughter who are challenged to see that hope is alive when a blind stranger enters their lives.
