Playwright Luis Valdez takes aim at Hollywood with I Don’t Have to Show You No Stinking Badges. This provocative tale of Buddy and Connie, two actors who have carved out a comfortable living in Los Angeles playing bit parts–maids, gardeners, outlaws, and other Latino stereotypes. When their son drops out of Harvard Law School to become an actor and to challenge the stereotypes in Tinseltown, the family’s way of life turns topsy-turvy.
