Dr. Zahi Hawass presents Egypt Past and Present at the Fitzgerald Theater on Friday, June 10th at 8:00 p.m. For the first time publicly, since the recent Egyptian revolution, esteemed archeaologist, National Geographic Explorer in Residence and newly appointed Egyptian Minister of State for Antiquities, Dr. Zahi Hawass will present how the recent events have impacted Egypt’s antiquities. He will also share the latest scientific findings about King Tut based on the recent forensic studies as well as provide insight into his latest discoveries in Egypt. This one night only lecture is not to be missed! Seating is limited so book your ticket today. A Q & A session and book signing will follow the lecure.

Doors will open at 7:00pm and seating is limited. VIP Reception will be held across the street at the McNally Smith College of Music and will take place from 6:30pm – 7:30pm. The lecture will begin promptly at 8:00pm. This lecture is an extension of Tutankhamun: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs exhibition at the Science Museum of Minnesota through September 5, 2011.
