Black Nativity – A Homecoming

The holidays are a time of celebration, of joyfulness and also, for many, are often greeted with bittersweet smiles as we welcome the newly born while remembering the recently passed. This year’s Black Nativity – A Homecoming we visit one large, closely-knit family who carry Christmas to the matriarch of the family, a recent widow so swept up in the grief of loss she has barely noticed the season at all. Her family surprises her, bringing music, good cheer, good food and lots of laughter into the house, relieving her loneliness and warming her heart. Conceived by T. Mychael Rambo and Lou Bellamy, with musical arrangements by Sanford Moore.
