Big Room

Award-Winning choreographer Morgan Thorson returns to the Southern’s stage with the premiere of Big Room, a new dance performance that explores time, space, motion and the limits of the human body. Thorson has assembled an all-star cast of artistic collaborators, including live music by world renowned composer Pauline Oliveros and Monique Buzzarte, set design by Eleanor Savage, dramaturgy by Lisa D’Amour, and light design by Jeff Bartlett. The premiere culminates two years of conceptual experiments by performers Kristin Van Loon, Morgan Thorson, Emily Johnson, Arwen Wilder, and Monique Buzzarte.
