New York City
Cape Rep Theatre presents Private Lives, by Noel Coward, directed by Maura Hanlon.
Amanda and Elyot, recently divorced from one another, find themselves in adjoining hotel rooms while on honeymoons with their new, wholly unsuitable, spouses. They steal off to Paris to confront their persistent mutual attraction with every weapon in their considerable arsenal, verbal and physical. After attending the recent Broadway revival, Ben Brantley of the New York Times called Private Lives “one of the funniest comedies of the 20th century.”
