The Weir

New Repertory Theatre and Orpheum Foxborough present the New England premiere of Conor McPherson’s The Weir. In a small town bar in rural Ireland, four local men find their isolation relieved by the arrival of a young woman from Dublin, whom they try to impress with tales of fairies and ghosts. McPerson’s sense of humor and drama draws us along through increasingly complex stories to a surprisingly profound and touching conclusion.

Following its run at New Repertory, the show moves to The Orpheum Foxborough from February 16-25.
