The Cape Playhouse presents The Dining Room by A.R. Gurney. Remember the room that was sandwiched between the kitchen

and what used to be called the “living” room?

Homework, those familiar annual holiday get-togethers

and the daily rituals of Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are all served up with laughter and nostalgia as we pay a visit to the heart of the American home: the dining room.

Reality TV has nothing on us as we witness stern grandparents, giggling teenage girls,

and obnoxious younger brothers as Mom and Pop hold court over first dates,

school proms, and where to send Grandma.

There is an early evening show on Saturday, July 9 at 4:00 pm, and an additional matinee on Thursday, July 14 at 2:00 pm.
