SLAMBoston provides a fun, exciting and edgy platform for bringing together a broad spectrum of diverse plays and the audience that supports them. The plays in the Slams come from a diverse group of writers: African American, Hispanic, Gay, Lesbian, Caucasian, male and female, the new works explore topics of race, gender, and human relationships from an exciting mix of perspectives.
Winning plays in order of appearance: Hangman by Gregory Fletcher; Date #4 by Dani Slepian; The Return of Cicero Walker by Louis Johnson; Dumpster Dan by Christopher Wall; I Love You Virus by Tom Grady; Early to Rise by Michele A. Miller; The Rental by Mark Harvey Levine; and Mary’s Letter to the Corinthians by Jeremy Goldstein.
