Jimmy Tingle’s OFF BROADWAY Theater, in association with Boston Children’s Theatre, presents Stupid Einstein, by Theater of Relativity.
A play about Einstein for children? That’s the premise of Stupid Einstein, a play whose missions include teaching children that science is fun, and inspiring future “Einsteins” by giving them an opportunity to “think like Albert Einstein.” This is an enjoyable comedy which also allows children to learn Einstein’s Special Theory of Relativity. Larry Loveridge – a nuclear physicist, plays the most famous nuclear physicist in Stupid Einstein.
Einstein published his revolutionary paper postulating his theory of Special Relativity exactly 100 years ago — Sept. 2005. Also of interest — Stupid Einstein creator and actor Jason Taylor was also a member of Boston Children’s Theatre in his youth.
