Mass College All-Star Jazz Big Band

The Mass College All Star Jazz Ensemble is a 17 piece jazz band featuring the state’s premier college jazz players. Each summer, returning Massachusetts college musicians return to form an elite energetic, top level Big Band Ensemble. The ensemble will be performing in Boston, Medford, Malden, Milton, Sudbury, Wetwood, Dedham, Blackstone, Salem, Norwood, Foxboro, Wellesley and the Payomet Performing Arts Center in Truro, the summer of 07. The group is directed by Joseph M. Brogan, Director of Fine Arts, Dedham Public Schools and the Director of the Babson College & Olin College Jazz Ensemble.Music selections include numbers from Gordon Goodwin, Benny Goodman, Charles Mingus to Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespie and Maynard Ferguson.
