Black Power: Six short plays from the 60s

In a collaborative effort Up You Mighty Race, Boston’s youngest Black Theatre company, teams up with New African Repertory Company, Boston’s oldest Black theatre company, to present an evening of progressive one acts. The series features plays written by Ben Caldwell, Ed Bullins, Amiri Baraka, and Douglas Turner Ward, that will evoke laughter and conversation.

Featuring: The Baptism, The Gentleman Caller, Brotherhood, All White Caste, Top Secret or a few Million After B.C., and Mission Accomplished.

Appropriate for audiences 16 and up.
