About This Show

American Legend Bob Hope turns 100 this month. Come thank him for the memories with a night at the Improv Canteen!

Hope and Glory combines Improvisation, Theatre, live music and the audience. An unscripted night saluting the radio and road shows that made “Hope” a household name.

The year is 1943, and The Mex Theatre…a U-S-O style canteen hall, with “more stars than Eisenhower’s helmet!” Broadcasting on W-F-D-R, the scenes, celebrities and songs are ALL based on audience ideas and suggestions.

“The Louisville Improvisors” is the first and longest running Improv troupe in town. Members are seasoned veterans with experience in television, film, and stage…and all have studied at Chicago’s famed Second City.
