Will Geer’s Theatricum Botanicum 2021 Summer Season

Will Geer’s Theatricum Botanicum returns to live performance at its unique and stunning outdoor amphitheater in Topanga with a summer repertory season of three plays July 10 through Nov. 7. The summer season includes a fresh look at Julius Caesar, Shakespeare’s iconic thriller about power, politics and the elusive nature of truth viewed from a new perspective — that of the Soothsayer; Theatricum’s signature production of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, infused with music and song to heighten the pleasure, in which the Topanga woods are once again transformed into an enchanted forest inhabited by lovers both fairy and human; and the world premiere of The Last, Best Small Town by John Guerra, a tale of small town America set in nearby Fillmore, CA.
