The highly lauded theatrical documentary, The Laramie Project, explores the hate-laced actions and attitudes that led to the horrific 1998 gay-bashing murder of Colorado college student Matthew Shepard, and the subsequent outcry of pain and compassion from those who knew and loved him. The Laramie Project, written by Moisés Kaufman and members of the Tectonic Theater Project, is directed by Dave Florek.
