The Jill and Julia Show

What happens when singer/songwriter Jill Sobule and writer/actor Julia Sweeney take the stage together? This seemingly odd couple weren’t quite sure themselves when they first decided to play together. What resulted was "a little bit of magic" that left audiences laughing, clapping, smiling and sometimes even crying…but always demanding more. Their fresh approach of combining Sobule’s songs with Sweeney’s stories heighten and reinforce the meanings and impact of both. The two powerhouses will be workshopping their show at the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center’s Renberg Theatre for another weekend of magic.
