About This Show

That Day in September chronicles a gay man’s journey, as a former actor enters the corporate world in an office across from the World Trade Center in June 2001. Being at work on the morning of September 11 and witnessing firsthand the horror that day caused him to re-evaluate his life, quit his job, and begin chronicling his personal experiences there. This true theater piece, written and told by Artie VanWhy, conveys a sense of what it was like to be present at the World Trade Center on that day in September.
