Talley’s Folly

The Little Fish Theatre Co. — Shakespeare by the Sea’s contemporary theatre branch — presents a staged reading of Lanford Wilson’s Talley’s Folly, directed by Steven Schilling. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, this
warm-hearted comic drama transports us to a summer night by a boathouse in Missouri half a century ago. There, love-struck Matt Friedman eagerly woos a reluctant Sally Talley. Gradually and grudgingly, the homespun southern spinster falls for the bookish charms of the worldly accountant from the big
city.
